Quite often I get comments from people from various places in the states and even worldwide who are experiencing hardships of some kind. Some of the comments and stories are truly heartbreaking.
One of the common hardships spoken of often is that so many are suffering from inflation and the cost of living. It is becoming harder and harder for people to “break even”. Studies are showing it’s hardest of all on parents. At the time of writing this, many people are losing their homes due to the rise of natural disasters-which I didn’t realize were increasing in more area’s than mine until after talking with an insurance salesperson and then looking it up last spring.
What is also concerning is some studies I’ve seen say 61% of Americans are not able to afford a home.
What does this mean for women the Lord has called to be “Keepers of the Home” in Titus 2? How can a woman be a Keeper at Home if she doesn’t have a home?
I don’t have the answer to this. But there is one thing I do know. I know the Lord loves the poor too.
