Oh my goodness, let’s talk about the end of the school year! Is it just me or is it hard for you to finish with a bang too? I created this Simple Homeschool Room Organization Hacks VIDEO recently because I was having a heck of a time staying motivated to finish the year well. I know that other homeschool mama’s out there are having the same struggle as me, and so I suspect others might enjoy seeing how we organize our homeschool space and jazz it up for a little inspo.
After 6 kids and 11 years of homeschooling kids from teens to tot’s I’ve learned that when I redo the homeschool space and organize it in the spring it gives us a second wind, so to speak.
Friends, I’ve got to be open and honest with you though, March was OVERWHELMING, and April hasn’t been much slower. In fact it’s been a super hot April so far and so this brought gardening season four weeks early! I’ve been busy as the bee’s on our backyard cherry tree trying to keep up! I’m so glad I tackled this project though because the space needed help. I always know it’s time to clean and organize the homeschool space when it looks like education vomited in the space and productivity dwindles!
Some of my new readers here may not know this about me, but I’ve had more experience than I would have liked to have had homeschooling in less than ideal/very small spaces! Before we moved here, while still living in the Midwest, we lived in small homes under 1000 square ft. for 12 years with up to 5 kids-during which time I was working from home, running a business and homeschooling.
I’ve had homeschool “corners” and homeschool rooms, but it’s only in more recent years that I’ve homeschooled in larger spaces. Through all these years I’ve picked up what I truly believe are some great hacks that can be adapted for pretty much any space, and I’m always still learning more, as you’ll see in the video with the corkboard scenes.
In my latest video I’m sharing my favorite homeschool organization hacks as well as some tips to help you organize your homeschool space no matter where it is or what size it is. I hope the hacks in this video are a major blessing to you.
