Parents, I found the BEST stainless steel sippy cups by a company called Cupkin! It is really hard to narrow down what I love most about this company because there are so many things I appreciate about Cupkin. Today I’m going to list just a few of my favorite features about these cups though.

Before I dive right in I want to tell you that lately I’ve been trying to be more intentional with the products I buy and promote here at Singing A New Song. My goals are to always promote products that are truly good, but lately I’ve also been searching for more family owned or small, independent businesses to promote. Bonus points if those products can be purchased straight from the business instead of through a third party. I’m delighted to share Cupkin meets all of these goals and so I’m looking forward to sharing them with you this month!

Why Stainless Steel Sippy Cups?

I initially had stainless steel cups (not sippy though) because I try to limit and even shy away from plastics as much as I can for health and environmental reasons. We had a set of stainless steel cups that I loved but eventually I sought out cups that offered a variety different colors because my children kept getting a new cup, filling it up, drinking half the water and leaving the rest on the counter.

Now imagine this times 6. When a child would come back later to finish their water they would have no idea which cup was their since ALL the kids were doing this. It wasn’t uncommon for me to have 15 or more cups all over my counters, and my counter space is already limited in my tiny kitchen!

But what’s worse is we buy our water because our tap water is horrible. It’s hard to say how many gallons a week were being wasted over this situation!

A different colored cup for each kid would eliminate that problem, so that’s when I started searching and found Cupkin.

Reasons Cupkin makes the Best Stainless Steel Sippy Cups

Here are 7 reasons Cupkin has some of the best stainless steel sippy cups on the market!

  1. USA Family Owned Business. Cupkin is founded and operated by Max and Jin, here’s the sweet scoop; In 2017 Jin was looking for plastic free products for their little girls and couldn’t find anything she loved, so the couple decided to create their own products. It took them 2 years in designing their cups.
  2. Cupkin goes the extra safety mile-they get 3rd party testing from a lab accredited by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission to ensure there is ZERO lead (other companies do use lead in their production), ZERO phthalates, no sharp edges, and that they are free of BPA and other toxins and chemicals.
  3. Choices; Cups are available in 3 sizes and come in 24 color choices.
  4. Cupkin provides a lifetime warranty for manufacturing defects, including chipping and peeling.
  5. Lids are spill proof, multifunctional (they can be used as a sippy cup or with a straw).
  6. Cups come with a food grade silicone straw.
  7. Cups are NOT dishwasher safe but they are easy to hand wash.

Eight Months Later….

We’ve had and have been enjoying our cups from Cupkin for about eight months now. The pictures here were taken just this week and as you can see they are in great shape. They are durable, pretty, and have helped us avoid many mishaps with the younger kids because of the sippy cup/straw feature (especially nice feature to have around homeschool books, lol). They work for smoothies and drinks, and the sippy/straw feature is much appreciated and utilized by the two younger kids.

I have more counter space now because each of the kids have their own color, so there are no longer 20 cups all over my counters half filled with water that no child wants to chance claiming for fear of claiming siblings cup and getting their “germs”!

Since we buy our water there is now less wasted water too.

I highly recommend these cups!
