Autumn is upon us and it’s such a special time of year here at our mountain homestead and homeschool. It’s one of the most bustling times of year for us! Today I have a video for you, Fall Idea’s for Busy Moms & Tip For Getting Things Done With Kids Around.
We are full swing into homeschool days and harvest as warm, spicy and sweet scents are filling the air from drying veggies, herbs and flowers, pickling cukes, salsas and baked goods!
Today was a big day, it was so chilly we had to start our first fire of the season. As I lit the flames it really hit me hard that another summer has come to a close. I love all the seasons, but saying goodbye to another summer is always the hardest season for me to leave behind. Summertime is my favorite season of all!
Fall is upon us though, and since we have a bigger homeschool family and a sprouting homestead I don’t really have time to do things like fall decorating so I dedicated my last video to the topic of all things fall, plus, since we’ve been talking about the mental load on women and how to get things done with kids around I talked a bit about this in the latter half of the video.

Today we had a little bit of snow mixed in with rainfall…I’m not ready for winter! But we have had a gorgeous fall this year, and the trees right now at the peak of fall colors. Some of the early trees are starting to lose leaves….cranberries are prime for picking now, so that will be the rush for the next few days! Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into your blog and youtube channel! I really love watching your videos! As a younger mom of 6 kiddos, 9 and under, you have been an incredible encouragement!!🤗♥️
