For Fathers Day this year, the Number 1 Free Father’s Day Gift Every Dad Craves that you can get your father or that you can help your children give their father is not a bought gift. It isn’t even a home, hand made gift. Although I recommend getting a fathers day gift, (we are getting/making my husband more than one), I’m going to share a little secret with you today. I’m going to share what every father want’s for Father’s Day. This quite possibly might be his favorite gift ever, and guess what? It’s free!
Number 1 Free Father’s Day Gift Every Dad Craves
I think one of the best gifts you could help your children give their father is appreciation.
We are exceedingly blessed to have my husband. Don’t get me wrong, he has his flaws like all men do. But that doesn’t and shouldn’t detract from all the area’s he is amazing because of. Specifically, and on topic, he’s one of the most long suffering, patient fathers I know. He provides for them, teaches the kids important life lessons, takes time to explain things to them, loves them, get’s up in the night with them if they are crying (if he hears them, lol).
For Fathers Day this year I’m helping each one of the children (that are old enough) do two things to show their daddy appreciation. Number one, I’m having them think of one thing they can do for their father. Some idea’s that I personally know my husband would feel loved by are as follows;
- to have the kids fold his laundry
- for the kids to tidy the garage for him
- for the kids and I to make him his favorite foods (he usually cooks on the weekends)
- an essential oil foot or back massage
- for help with his lunches for a week
Secondly, I’m going to have the kids think of one thing they appreciate and are grateful for that their father does, and on Fathers Day this year I’m going to have them tell him what that is. They can write it in a card they;ve created too, but it’s so special to hear words of praise, so I want them to speak the words to their daddy as well.
In addition to this I’m going to do the same. What are some of the area’s your children’s father excels in?
