The Ministry of Serving
When you look up the word “ministry”, it includes the meaning of “serving”. I love the thought that when we are faithfully and joyfully serving and raising our families in the Lord, we are working as disciples, and this is ministry! If more people realized this I don’t think the world would have nearly as many problems as it does!
But I digress.
When it comes to the kitchen, is there any space where we mamas spend more time in active serving duty? I know laundry comes in right behind (by the way, we found the Best Laundry Systems that work for various family sizes HERE). The kitchen, however, is still in front because meal times don’t wait.
For this reason, the kitchen is an important place. It is where we create meals to keep our family alive and healthy.
In my Kitchen Day series on YouTube that just kicked off, I’ve divided a long kitchen day into 5 parts, and combined the kitchen day with conversations around serving our families as a ministry to encourage myself and you in serving the family the Lord has given us.
