Do you need an easy, fast recipe to whip up for a meal? It doesn’t get much faster then this Easy Spinach Cheese Quiche! This takes around 15 minutes to whip up and put together, and only 20 to 30 to bake. It’s perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can add ham to it if you want to up the protein and make it a full dinner.
If you can get your hands on some pure, plain whey powder it makes a wonderfully delicious addition to this recipe. I started making this easy spinach cheese quiche when I was 16 and it is just as much a hit now as it was then! My family loves this. Last time I made it I just made one, I should have made two because I literally left the room only few minutes, came back, and it was GONE!
This has a quite a bit of protein and it is good hot or cold. You could make one up for grab and go breakfasts for a week if you wanted to.
Easy Spinach Cheese Quiche
Ingredients
- 1 pie crust
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 eggs, beaten
- ½ to 1 cup spinach you could use more
- ¼ to ½ cup parmesan cheese
- 1 med minced onion
- optional, ham, mushrooms, & or various cheeses, like swiss!
Instructions
- Mix All ingredients and pour into pie crust. Bake at 350℉ for 20 to 30 minutes, or until set. You could also use a thermometer inserted in the middle, it's done when it reaches 165℉.
