There’s been a request for my homeschool 24/25 academic calendar that I created so here are a few versions! I’ve adapted these with choices so you can plan your homeschool year with subject-specific calendars. Be sure to check out my HOMESCHOOL PLANNER AVAILABLE HERE. Easily Plan Your Homeschool Year with FREE Subject-Specific Calendars
It’s back to homeschool time and this year I discovered a trick while planning our homeschool year. I realized I could use one calendar spread per subject and per child.
This is a great idea if you don’t start every child and every subject at the same time. For example, we usually like to start math and reading early, even as early as July. Then we like to add other subjects in a couple weeks or even a month later depending on when we get our early (or not so early) start.
Easing in like this this helps the kids and I transition into a school year with less chaos, more wiggle room and more PEACE!
For more about how I like to plan our homeschool year I’ll put my homeschool planning videos below at the end of this post.
I’ve linked and shared my favorite pens for planning below as well.
My Favorite Pens for Planning
I am always changing things up, changing my mind, or miscounting here and there so I like using erasable pens like THESE ONES,
or erasable highlighters like THESE ONES,
If you use the highlighters the only problem to be aware of is that if you erase a portion you will not be able to re highlight it.
Also, be aware, a commenter on my channel has shared that heat will erase your erasable pen or highlighter work! So don’t leave your planner or work on a dashboard or laminate it if you are using these pens!
For permanent pens I just found these lovely pens, they write so smoothly and they are even pretty!
