Recently, I splurged big time. I bought The World of Peter Rabbit series by Beatrix Potter for my younger children’s book basket. I knew we would enjoy this, but I didn’t expect we would love it as much as we do! Since it was more than worth every penny I decided to write this Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit Series Review for you all.
Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit Series Review
I knew these books would be treasured by my younger three. Totally didn’t expect my 9 year old son to treasure them as well.
This year I have been making it a priority to schedule more book basket time with living books and the reading list suggested by Simply Charlotte Mason for my middle and elementary levels. You can find many of the books suggested in my Charlotte Mason Early Elementary Book List Amazon Store HERE.
I don’t remember when I first saw Beatrix Potter’s art. I think I must have been very young because when I was 4 my mother and step dad moved from the Seattle area to the mountains on the other side of the state, and I remember distinctly falling in love with the woods. I remember imagining scenes happening inside the trees like the beautiful scenes from Beatrix Potter’s books. So I must have seen them when I was very little!
When I had my own children, someone gave us THIS PETER RABBIT DVD. It was and has been a favorite for my children when they are young. One of my favorite things about it is the artwork and the music. It’s a peaceful sounding show I don’t mind to have playing in the background to entertain the children while I focus on other tasks.
I’m looking forward to adding more Beatrix Potter to our homeschool, including the DVD series HERE.

This looks wonderful! Thank you for the review!
Such a treasure! I still have my very worn copy of Peter Rabbit, as well as Mrs Tiggy-Winkle and a few others, and share them now with my grandkids.
That’s really special, Renee!
Those are some beautiful classic books. And I bet your children will take really good care of them and that they will last a long time and maybe one day they’ll even pass them down to their children.
I hope so, Vicky!

I haven’t thought about Peter Rabbit in years! I do remember loving the cassette tapes my mom had with Beatrix Potter stories on them. What I don’t remember is there being so many! Maybe we didn’t have them all.
I didn’t know there were so many until I recently either!
An absolute classic! My girls shared the same love for this book too.
These are some of my favorite books. I collect children’s books and my grandparents gifted me a beautiful boxed set of them all. They are so special!
