Currently, I’m in the 6th kitchen that I’ve organized and used over the last 25 years. My kitchen isn’t quite finished, but I absolutely love it! It’s beautiful and bright. It’s been an ongoing project since moving in, at this point we just have to finish the backsplash and window trim! I’m very excited for it to be done!

It is getting more organized all the time though. I’ve organized and re-organized this kitchen SO many times to accommodate each of the steps forward we take in finishing it. Currently I’ve been fine tuning the organization and functionality, and in the process I’ve found some great thrift and Amazon finds!

Next Level Dish Rack

If you need a dish rack and you don’t like the look or clutter of having a dish rack on the counter consider a tiered cart on wheels. They are perfect for drying dishes! Turn Around

Lazy Susan’s are one of my FAVORITE things to organize area’s of my kitchen. I found that they are great for the pantry, but recently I discovered they take refrigerator organization to a whole new level. Seriously, I don’t ever want my fridge to be without one again! I found some affordable large ones on Amazon, I didn’t measure them and was pleasantly surprised by how big they are! They even come in different colors.

Second Hand Dishes

I find so, SO many kitchen necessities at the thrift store. Although you don’t want to buy ceramic or stoneware dishes there that have lost their shine (lead), you can find find one’s in good shape. Our entire Corelle collection, some Pottery Barn bowls, and almost all our cups, bowls plates, and glasses are thrifted! I’ve never totaled up what I’ve saved by getting second had dishes, but I’m positive it’s hundreds of dollars.

Bag Organization

Plastic baggies were taking over a rather large space in my kitchen. It wasn’t working to simply leave them in the boxes. My kids would rip the boxes making all the bags take over the drawer like a swarm of angry gnats. I finally had enough and bought this bag organizer. I wish I got the bigger one! We love it!
